The NFL has made a change to the Week 16 schedule. The New England Patriots ' Dec. 21 road game against the Baltimore Ravens has been flexed into the Sunday night spot, while the Cincinnati Bengals ' showdown in Miami against the Dolphins has been moved from Sunday night to a 1 p.m. ET kickoff.
The NFL opted for its first prime-time schedule flex in 2025 by bumping the Dolphins and Bengals out of their Week 16 "Sunday Night Football" spot.

NFL flexes Dolphins out of prime time in Week 16
The NFL flexed the Miami Dolphins out of prime time in Week 16, the league announced Monday night. Instead of the Dolphins facing the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Night Football, it'll instead be the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens. The Dolphins' duel with the Bengals will kick off at 1 p.m. ET with television coverage via CBS.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the league moved the New England Patriots- Baltimore Ravens Week 16 game into the ‘Sunday Night Football’ slot at 8:20 p.m. EST. The Miami Dolphins will now play their clash against the Cincinnati Bengals at Hard Rock Stadium at 1:00 p.m. EST.
But with the 4-9 Bengals' playoff probability down to 1 percent and the Dolphins sitting at 6-7, the Bengals-Dolphins game could be flexed out of Sunday night.
The Week 15 NFL schedule features 16 more games, including several with potential playoff ramifications. One such game is an AFC East battle between the Buffalo Bills (9-4) and New England Patriots (11-2).
