The Atlanta Falcons are once again going to travel outside of the United States for a football game in 2026. The last time we saw Atlanta overseas, Colts running back Johnathan Taylor gashed the Falcons defense for 244 yards rushing yards in an overtime loss.

The Detroit Lions will play a regular-season game outside of the United States, as part of the NFL's 2026 International Games.

Many expect Detroit to play in Germany, as the league announced on Wednesday morning it was returning to Munich, Germany, in 2026 and 2028 to play regular season games. The league has a multi-year partnership with the city of Munich and FC Bayern Munich.

The next NFL games will be in Germany in the coming years, with an FC Bayern Munich partnership on the horizon.
